“FLYING OR FALLING II”

Born in Seoul and raised in Ohio, John Park has been in Los Angeles since 1997. Park has been showing his work since 2008 and calling himself a career artist since 2012. His Pop Surrealism blend of figures and abstract backgrounds has been applied to murals across the country, while Park has also been evolving his 3D card cardboard art including an impressive array of masks, animal heads, and wearable puppets. In 2015 commercial realtor Matt Crabs hired Park to paint this wall on Main St in El Segundo. Park says that at that time this was the largest wall he had yet painted and while the work was challenging it also provided a breakthrough leading him to ever more impressive feats. @johnparkart/
